Memorial Day is all about taking the time to honor America's fallen heroes. Unlike Veterans Day, which is a time to honor all those who have served in the military, in a time of war or peace, Memorial Day is strictly for acknowledging the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice while defending their country.

Family, Friends, love ones and guests gather to remember and honor.

The Historic Wilmington Cemetery would like to invite you to join us at our Memorial Day Event on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This event is co-hosted by VFW Post 2967.

Our Keynote Speaker will be, Retired Major General John Harrel along with Dignitaries Assemblyman Mike Gipson, Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragan, Councilman Tim McCosker and others.

Also, in attendance will be Retired General Peter Gravett, Retired Army Major Joe Gaitlin and a few others.
